My Purpose

Health.Wellness.Happiness.

What started out as a curiosity to listen to people's stories transformed into a passion for connecting people with experiences and products that improve their day-to-day lives. Over my career, I've learned the important role both business and design play in this process and have focused on delving deeper into each of these areas.

In college, this passion took the form of creating my own course around educational technology. This was my first taste at combining business plans and minimum viable products with prototyping and human-centered design to deliver solutions catered towards teachers and students. Over the next 5 years, I worked on "pet" projects ranging from redesigning cricket protein bars to appeal to the mass market to an app that would mitigate the feeling of "Sunday Scaries."

Professionally, during my roles at McMaster-Carr, I combined design thinking with underlying business goals to deliver solutions ranging from creating workspaces and processes that motivated employees to work more ergonomically to e-commerce concepts catered to customer needs.

Now, as a student pursuing Kellogg's dual-degree through the MMM program (MBA + M.S. in Innovation Design), I am yet another step closer in my journey of creating beautifully designed, customer-centric, and business viable solutions that improve day-to-day consumer lives.
